Brother of hostage taking victims’ message to parents: “Take good care of your children especially in public areas”

Let me start this post by quoting the brother of the kid who was held hostage by a still unidentified man in his 50’s yesterday in inside Chowking Maingate in Angeles City and quote,

I just want you to be informed; for all the parents, you have to take good care of your children, specially in public areas, there our things that we couldn’t even imagine to happen but unfortunately we became victims.

The victim’s brother apparently shaken by the harrowing experience of their family wrote the statement on his personal Facebook account to remind parents to be aware of their surroundings and said, “We really had a hard time having this experience, our whole family has been traumatized esp. my brother.”

Calvin Chong took the liberty to update his friends on the status of his little brother and wrote, “As of tonight my brother was brought at AUFMC he had a lot of scratch in his face and he is already getting well but still dealing with trauma.”

The netizen, still puzzled by the incident attempted to make sense of the situation and wrote, “There are people who will cause trouble to others without having enough reason, so we must establish extra care to ourselves and to our love ones and don’t forget to pray.”

Before he ended his post, he thanked God for sparing the life of his little brother and wrote this, “Panginoon, maraming maraming salamat po.”

The hostage taking ended when a policeman managed to sneak in from behind and shot the hostage taker on the shoulder.
