Sen. Ralph Recto has expressed one’s sympathy to his senate colleague Sen. Joel Villanueva after the ENDO bill he authored was vetoed by PRRD.
Recto said he felt bad for his friend Sen. Villanueva who worked hard on the said bill, doing a tight rope act under stormy conditions only to be vetoed in the end by PRRD.
An obviously dismayed Recto told Macalacang to write its own version and send it Congress with an attached Malacanang certification as to its urgency.
Recto added that Malacanang must write it in black and white, so nothing is lost in translation.
Recto said this is necessary because the veto message did not cite the specific provisions that triggered the Presidential veto.
Recto’s tantrum did not escape DDS blogger Marl Lopez’s radar who quickly crafted a reply addressed to Senator Recto asking for clarification regarding the ENDO bill.
In the Facebook post, Lopez wants Recto to clarify if it were true that ENDO bill, which he praised as “balanced one”, was actually favorable to the employer.
Lopez quoted the spokesman of ALU-TUCP Allan Tanjusay from its statements to the local media that they have suspicion the senate version of the ENDO bill highly favored the employer.
Dear Sen. Ralph Recto,
