I was one of those in the pictures below way back in 2010, who were dismissed illegally from my job by the network who called themselves “Kapamilya” or family, wrote former ABS-CBN employee John Paul Panizales on Facebook. “Isa ako dito way back 2010….. “

Panizales questioned why did the Kapamilya did not consider him as family then? I was one of those who stood in front of the company (building) who fought for our rights as employees. Did they listen to us? No!!! Not even one TV station paid attention to our complaints and cry for help! Because they are all the same, they have skeletons in the closet so to speak. 10 years I served that network!

Panizales recalled how he almost died after taping. After 10 years of service, not an hour went by, his access to the network was removed. “In fact, muntik pa ako mamatay dahil naaksidente kami pagkagaling sa isang taping!

Panizales credited TV5 for giving him and jobless former ABS-CBN employees a job.

Panizales made it clear it’s okay if ABS-CBN’s franchise is renewed. But he hopes that the network will look back their ordinary workers who worked hard just to give them good shows. Those who even lack sleep for days just to accomplish their respective jobs.

Panizales wishes that the network really care and love their workers (ordinary workers) like true family, especially those who dedicated all their lives to the network. Hopes the heartless maltreatment of the employees will end soon.

However, Panizales said he is very thankful because it all began in the Kapamilya network. He said he owes all his learnings now. He was molded, learned at mastered his craft. He also learned in the Kapamilya network that the world he entered is surrounded by snakes and fake people.

Panizales is hoping that the issue of franchise would usher change to the entertainment world (showbiz industry). He is hoping that the one who will make people really happy triumphs, not just those talents that they can capitalize to make money! Panizales ended the FB post hoping that ABS-CBN will live up to its slogan, “In the service of the Filipino”! Sana totoo na ang network na to ay ‘In the service of the Filipino’!”
