Former DLSU professor Van Ybiernas had a good laugh at socmed critics critical of the President’s latest public address.
In his latest FB post, Ybiernas lamented that the remaining 3% of the population weren’t happy to hear public address of the President. “may 3% pa ring di masaya sa public address ng pangulo. hahaha.“
Ybiernas mentioned the comments he read that the President’s message was simple, he should have emailed it. Sone said the President should face the nation to calm down their fears. So, no matter what the President does, he will lose the argument. So talo maski saan ang presidente…“
Another netizen remarked that the President’s public address lack details. Ybiernas can’t help but ask why ordinary Filipinos need the specifics? He asked if their father gave them the details all of his plan how to make money so that he can go to school? Or the promise that his tutions for his education was enough?
So what was the President’s message to the public? Ybiernas asked. Listen to what the DOH says because they know better.
In other words, the critics are saying the President is wrong on this one because he did not address the health-related issue. “So, talo pa rin ang pangulo. Mali pa rin siya.“
But when the President discussed health-related matter, the critics will say, the President is wasting time because he is not a medical expert.
Ybiernas could only shake his head in disbelief because no matter what the President do, his 3% critics won’t stop finding faults because they think they know better. Wala kang katwiran. Sila lang ang tama. Sila lang ang nakakaalam ng lahat. Sila lang ang magaling.“
Ybiernas, in a frank manner, said the 3% lose the election every time. “TALO NAMAN TUWING ELEKSYON.”
Ybiernas did not stop here. He updated his post and made additional comments.
He lamented that if President Duterte imposes a quarantine or a lockdown, you’ll hear comments that it is OA or overacting. Otherwise, they will criticize the President for doing nothing.
Cancelling the school classes, elicits question like, what will students do. Otherwise, you’ll hear comments that the government is putting the health of students at risk.
The President can’t win, no matter he does. He loses. “WALA KANG PANALO. Kahit ano gawin mo, talo ka.“
Ybiernas heaved a sigh of relief that these critics are losers every election and Duterte wins every election. “Buti na lang panalo tuwing eleksyon!“
