Fearless lawyer shares opinion on former General & now Baguio City Mayor Ben Magalong vs. PNP Chief Oscar Albayalde issue re “ninja cops”

Fearless lawyer Trixie Cruz-Angeles couldn’t help but take a swipe at the senators who kept harping about the length of time it took for the Motion for Reconsider the alleged ninja cops filed in their case.

Angeles defended SOJ Guevarra who obviously was the target of the senator’s veiled criticism. Why? Angeles said that is not the issue. It is not how long it took but how complete the charges are.

Angeles remarked that former General and now Baguio City Mayor Magalong had to state it loud. And that General Albayalde was directly in command of Maj. Baloyong and his men, who conducted the alleged raid that netted so much drugs. There was so much that the prices of shabu went down due to oversupply when they were allegedly resold later.

Angeles noted that Albayalde is very worried since he is about to retire. As the Provincial Director, he was supposedly informed about the operation every 30 minutes at that time of the alleged raid. If he was, 100% he knew about it. If he was and he was fooled and did not raise a finger to correct the misimpression. If he wasn’t informed, it says a lot about his incompetence.

Tahimik si SOJ. Bakit? Kasi hindi yan ang tunay na issue. It isn’t how long it took. It is HOW COMPLETE the charges are.

Mayor Magalong had to state it out loud. Gen. Albayalde was directly in command of Maj. Baloyong and his men, who conducted the alleged raid that netted so much drugs. There was so much that the prices of shabu went down due to oversupply when they were allegedly resold later.

Albayalde, who is due to retire soon, and justifiably worried about his retirement, was or should have been informed every thirty minutes of the ongoing operation at the time of the alleged raid. If he was, then he knew. If he was and he was fooled, then he did nothing to correct his misimpression. If he wasn’t then he was incompetent.
