In case you missed it, Mon Tulfo in his Manila Times Opinion column severely criticized Gen. Parlade, accusing the NTF-ELCAC Spokesman of bungling on his job because Parlade doesn’t understand the nuances of the English language and could be clueless.
Tulfo went on to call for Gen. Parlade’s firing as NTF-ELCAC Spokesman to save the AFP and the Duterte government from further embarrassment.
Mon Tulfo’s scathing remarks did not take long to elicit a meaty response from the SolCom Chief and NTF-ELCAC Spokesperson, Lt. Gen. Antonio Parlade Jr..
Gen. Parlade’s response has been shared online by his ardent supporters and colleagues, first and foremost by PCOO Undersecretary Lorraine Badoy.
Gen. Parlade began by telling Tulfo that his mouth is not as big as him but sure that his heart is big for the country.
The General also confessed that he is not very articulate but he speaks the truth unlike Tulfo who based his opinion on what he reads from the newspaper and his wrong understanding of what he reads.
The General countered Tulfo’s allegation he red-tagged Liza, Angel and Catriona that perhaps it was the controversial guilty of such. The General advised Tulfo to read post and not rely too much on his articulate researchers.
“Sino nagsabi na kumunista sina Liza, Angel, at Catriona? Ako?
The General agreed with Tulfo’s statement that there are indeed plenty of articulate AFP personnel but Tulfo needs to find someone who has the b*lls.
“By the way madaming articulate dyan sa AFP pero hanap ka muna ng may b*lls.”
The General joked he was forced to make a rebuttal because Tulfo might think he only picked a fight with small-timers like Joma.
At this juncture, Gen. Parlade broke the news to Tulfo regarding the SC decision regarding the case of the two Aetas.
Parlade added.
Gen. Parlade asked Tulfo to write something good and contribute something positive to the country.
Gen. Parlade ended his rebuttal by informing Tulfo that he wrote in Tagalog for fear that the mediaman will nitpick his English.
