Find out why!

This is the opening line of the status update of former GMA 7 talent of the Mel & Jay fame Jay Sonza criticizing his former employer.

Sonza took to Facebook to express his disappointment over GMA 7, calling the former employer “worse” than ABS-CBN.

By the way, Sonza was a long-time employee of ABS-CBN before transferring to GMA 7, together with Mel Tiangco.

Sonza lamented how GMA News reduced Justice Aguirre’s statement about the Drilon-Roxas case into 4 sentences and a 10-second voice on tape while spending more than 5 minutes for the liberal party story, complete with character generated text of their statement.

Sonza said “any professional news manager, producer and writer can immediately any professional news manager, producer and writer can immediately notice the disparity as to the objectivity and fairness and balance news presentation.”

gma devoted less than one minute to the Aguirre report and spend more than 5 minutes for the liberal party story, complete with character generated text of their statement.

any professional news manager, producer and writer can immediately notice the disparity as to the objectivity and fairness and balance news presentation.

but that is not my point. the point is – the liberal party has nothing to do with the Aguirre statement. therefore, malinaw na sinalsal nila ng husto ang balita ng walang kakuwenta-kuwenta. napaka-unprofessional.

and yet they pride themselves as award winning news program and anchor persons. what a shame to the profession.

I pity Vicky Morales and the pampangueno reporter who voiced the report using the same script in their succeeding news programs. Where they forced to perform. I don’t believe they will do it, given the option.
