Journalist chides bias media networks: Really, no hiding the attempt anymore at discrediting, lowering Duterte’s approval rating

What bull! Such crap!!!

This is the reaction of journalist Ira Panganiban after the giant news networks put a negative spin to a supposedly rousing approval on Duterte’s war on drugs campaign.

“The twists on surveys has begun!!!!” journalist Panganiban opened his Facebook post.

He said he read news in SWS’ recent survey on Duterte’s war on drugs and found himself shaking his head in disgust.

I sit here and read the news in SWS’ recent survey on Duterte’s war on drugs and I can only shake my head in disgust.

He lamented the shameless attempt of the bias media network in bringing down the approval rating of Duterte.

There is really no hiding the attempt anymore at discrediting and lowering the approval rating of the President.

He then offered to expound his take on the issue…

They asked if the people are satisfied with how the government is addressing the drug problem.

The survey result shows 85% of the 1,500 respondents are satisfied with the governments war and on drugs.

They were asked if the campaign against drugs is successful.

88% agreed that the drug problem declined since Duterte took over as President in July.

They were then asked if the government is serious in solving the issue of extrajudicial killings.

70% agreed that the Duterte administration is dead serious in solving the problem of extrajudicial killings.

But,  the shrewd SWS came up with an ace up its sleeve, by asking the respondents if they are worried about being a victim of EJK, the journalist said.

And then they threw in the monkey wrench when they asked if the respondents are worried about being a victim of EJK.

80% said they are.

But of course they are!!!

The question is translated in the minds of those they asked as “are you worried about being killed?”

And of course 8/10 will say yes. Of course everyone worries about being killed. Hell 10/10 worries about dying for Christs sake!!!

However, Mr. Panganiban pointed out that the same respondents are convinced the government is serious about solving the cases of EJK, thus contradicting the results of their answer to the fear of being victims of EJK.

And even then, the same respondents said they are convinced the government is serious about solving the cases of EJK. That alone negates the results of their answer to the fear of being victims of EJK.

Mr. Panganiban said SWS provided the big media the opening to attack Duterte with the “if they are worried about being a victim of EJK” question.

But the survey needed a peg that big media can latch onto for a negative spin on Duterte!!!

And so the lead come out as “8 of 10 Filipinos Worry about EJK!”

At this juncture, the journalist uttered the line which can be read at the beginning of the post.

He said the “real story” is that Filipinos gave Duterte a good approval rating on the war on drugs campaign.

The real story is that 8.8/10 Filipinos agree the drug problem is being solved, 8.5/10 Filipinos are satisfied with the war against drugs, and 7/10 Filipinos believe the government is serious in solving EJK’s.

“And here is the clincher!!!”  the journalist wrote…
Only 3.9/10 Filipinos think EJK under Duterte is a serious problem.

Furious, the journalist told the giant news networks:

So why highlight the fear of death when that question actually begs the answer already!!!

Mr. Panganiban chided the giant news network for trying to make a fool of the people…

Taena! Do they think the people don’t have access to the same data they have? Do they really think we are idiots that believe everything they write and do not look further for validation? And they still wonder why they are where they are?

He ended his post by telling the bias news networks to cut the crap.

Enough of already! These kind of operations do not help anyone, most especially the Filipino people.
