Here another twist in the Kerwin Espinosa-Jovie Espenido controversy! According to the PNP Chief, Kerwin cleared Espenido name. But Kerwin said he did not.
According to news article published on The Standard, suspected drug lord Kerwin Espinosa has cleared Albuera, Leyte Head of Police Chief Inspector Jovie Espenido of any involvement in illegal drug trade.
The Kerwin Espinosa statement clearing Albuera Police Espenido from the illegal drug trade was the headline banner of major local newspapers a day ago. You may watch the video here.
But the report clearing Albuera Chief Espenido from any connection with the illegal drug trade turned out be false alarm if the latest statement issued by Kerwin Espinosa release recently turned out to be true.
In a Facebook post, blogger Sass Rogando Sasot called the attention of the public regarding the latest twist on the Kerwin Espinosa-Jovie Espenido drama.
Wrong translation! “Binawi raw ang statement” eh ang nakalagay sa Bisaya ay “wala akong binabawi sa statement.”
In a letter allegedly written by Kerwin Espinosa, the alleged drug lord denied clearing the name of Albuera Police Chief Espenido.
He insisted that Espenido acted as the bridge between him and then SOJ de Lima.
According to him, Espenido even demanded 5% from all the properties he sold.
He said he has evidence, a video, showing Espenido counting his commission from his office.
In addition, Espenido confiscated all the vehicles, including motorcycles owned by the Espinosa’s.
He alleged Espenido auctioned off all his vehicles to the Albuera residents.
It was unknown who pocketed the money from the auctioned vehicles.
