Did you watch the Sereno interview on BBC’s HardTalk hosted by Stephen Sackur?
If you did, then you must have noted that Sereno mentioned the case of a court sheriff who was in the same boat with the ex-CJ for non-filing of SALN.
However, according to lawyer Trixie Cruz-Angeles, the similarities between Sereno and Doblado’s case end here.
Interestingly, Angeles remarked that the BBC interview of Sereno has showed two things – she lacks integrity and sanity.
How? Please read the full text of Angeles Facebook post for a clear and brief explanation.
Aniya, “…one case particularly stands out, where a sheriff for 18 years was not able to show anything in his record and then there was a contradictory evidence where the clerk of court said, No actually he had some of the records. And the Court said, no that the evidence was already enough for us to say that he… that the presumption was in his favor. There was not positi— there was no evidence that was brought forward about his filing–”
Walang record sa UP.
