In the morning of September 28, 2017, PDI reported that the Ombudsman will probe Duterte’s wealth based on alleged documents and information attached to the Trillanes complaint.
The news has been met with celebration among the supporters of the Duterte opposition in social media including the Facebook page, Silent No More, who posted a mocking Facebook update at exactly 5:57 PM today and read:
Dear Fellow Filipinos,
“Mahirap lang kami. Simpleng tao lang kami.”
Audition pala ito sa PBB?!
However, the joyous mood in the opposition camp proved to be premature if the official statement from AMLC is an indication.
News5’s caption while sharing the AMLC statement says it all in one sentence.
Duterte
The statement from AMLC denying releasing any documents or information to Trillanes has been met with jubilation from the Duterte supporters on social media by mocking at Trillanes.
Gogo Sanchez Gallarde wrote: “Wahahaha, anyari,,,, paano yan?
Erick Amodia said: “Conspiracy between trililing and the ombudman’s yellowtards personnel… anu kau ngaun??? Nganga.😝😝😈”

Meanwhile, Eddie Macapulay slammed the mainstream media for being Trillanes’ mouthpiece.
Netizen Jason Andanar said the case should now be automatically dismissed.
