Exactly 7 days before election day, the Brigade Commander of the PNP Reactionary Standby Support Force was relieved from his post for allegedly favoring a presidential candidate.
In a news article published by GMA News earlier today in “Balitanghali” on Tuesday, Saleema Refran reported that Chief Superintendent Ronald dela Rosa was eased out from the position due to his Facebook post cautioning those who have plans to cheat during the May 9 elections. Please read the post of the PNP General below:
The PNP General who hails from Davao allegedly tagged a personality associated with Mayor Rodrigo Duterte.
Upon checking out the post, the personality tagged by the Facebook post of the PNP General belongs to Christopher Bong Go.
If you are familiar with Mayor Duterte’s executive assistant, Mr. Bong Go, the personality tagged by the PNP General appears to pertain to one and the same person.
Dela Rosa was supposed to lead a seminar for cops about Comelec’s guidelines on election day, as well as their responsibilities on election day, said PNP Deputy Director General Danilo Constantino.
The former RSSF commander is now under investigation over his questionable post on social media, PNP Deputy Director Constantino added.
On twitter, the PNP reiterated that the policemen are non-partisan.

Chief Superintendent Dela Rosa is a graduate of the Philippine Military Academy (PMA) class ’86, was former director of the Davao City Police Office (DCPO).
He was one of the 38 police officers cited by President Benigno Aquino during the Araw ng Parangal Sa Kapulisan for the arrest of Malaysian terrorist Mohd Noor Fikrie Binabd Hahar and wife Annabel Nieva Lee in Davao City.
Dela Rosa has gained celebrity status in Davao due to his many conquests and accomplishments.
Dabawenyos fondly call him “The Rock” or sometimes, “Vin Diesel” but he is more known as “Bato” not only due to his muscular built but because he grew up in Barangay Bato in Sta. Cruz, Davao del Sur.
