This is outright embarrassing!
Bro. Eddie Villanueva bravely called out President Duterte in Karen Davila interview, demanding public apology from the President for the “st@p!d G)d” comment.
However, as soon as Villanueva’s ANC interview with Karen Davila landed on social media, bible-savvy netizens quickly turned the tables around on the JIL leader by scrutinizing every bible verses he quoted in the ANC interview.
In the interview, Villanueva said that bible is very clear that when you slander, curse God, you are inviting curses, not only for yourself but the entire nation.
When asked by Davila if what Villanueva said was biblical, the JIL responded with an affirmative answer and told Davila he was quoting from Zechariah Chapter 22 and went on to expound his answer.
When the nation is filled with blasphemies, idolatries, sexual immoralities and blood bath, that country is inviting the wrath of God.
However, according to the FB page “Netijourn”, there are are 14 chapters in the book of Zechariah and not 22 as Villanueva wants the public to believe in the interview.
But if you think Villanueva was done making an embarrassment out of himself in the interview, he wittingly or unwittingly made another mistake.
This time, he misquoted another bible verse, Proverbs 21:1, which according to Netijourn goes like this, “The King’s heart is in the hand of the Lord, as the rivers of water: he turneth it whithersoever he will.”
Villanueva’s version of Proverbs 21: 1 goes like this, “A man remains stiff neck after several rebukes, suddenly he will be destroyed without remedy.”
“Netijourn” says the stiff neck Bro. Villanueva was talking can be found in Proverbs 29, not in 21.
The expose of Bro. Villanueva’s faux pas has made the JIL leader the center of mockery on social media.

“THANK YOU VERY MUCH! Karen Davila for interviewing Bro. Eddie. Now the whole world know how much he really know his Holy Bible. He judged the President because of his recent remarks against the priests of the Roman Catholic church.
Here is my humble opinion. The President is right with his statement: “Your god is not my God.” Remember his words that he believes in a Supernatural Being, and this is God.
To whom was the President talking to? The priests. The President was referring to God’s direct command in Exodus 20:3 “You shall have no other gods before me.” (NKJV) and on verses 4, 5; “You shall not make for yourself any carved image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.”
You shall not bow down to them nor serve them.” (NKJV).
“Bilib n bilib naman si Karen. Nandudumilat pa hahaha. Kaya nga baluktot din ang utak eh hehehe”
Double-u Pacheco: “Itanong mo kay Soriano wag kay Villanueva hahaha”
Astie Roxes: “Niloloko nya lang si Karen, kayo naman oh. Haha!”
However, in a Facebook post, Bro. Villanueva released a statement, defending himself from the faux pas saying a combination of time constraint and eagerness to answer sets him up to make an erroneous response.
