The destabilization matrix released by Malacanang has been the laughing stock on social media, called by many names like ‘grade school matrix’, ‘silly diagrams’, ‘false’, ‘garbage’ to name a few.

But before you join the bandwagon, please take the time to read the Facebook post of netizen Adrian Pascual to knock some sense in your head and start taking the matrix seriously.

According to Pascual, Malacanang used Maltego software of Paterva in its matrix presentations. A very good software for intel (for your eyes only) people and cyber IT experts but not for public presentations.

Pascual is from Davao City but based now in Tel Aviv Israel asp er his Facebook profile suggest. He is the former managing director of AP Media Communications and probably knowledgeable about IT cybersecurity.

Moving forward, in the Facebook post, Pascual advised journalists to better do more research on link analysis technologies.

On Hidilyn Diaz and Gretchen Ho?

Pascual said the two are not totally innocent but not active participants in the conspiracy versus the government but they are within the network and there are electronic data that will back it up.

In the spirit of fairness, Pascual also criticized Malacanang Spokesman Salvador Panelo for bungling the presentation of the matrix which he said do not possess the critical technical know how on the technology and he lacks the presentation savvy skills needed for such a complex presentation.

Pascual said that the matrix in itself should have been made more simple and with lesser people on it. They should have focused on the major personalities and organizations with the highest prominence in the network to keep the presentation simpler and easier to understand for a layman.

In effect, that should give a chilling warning to sports and media personalities to be circumspect because the government is closely watching those who may have shared the Bikoy videos.

Maltego software of Paterva has been used by the Palace in its matrix presentations. A very good software for intel (for your eyes only) people and cyber IT experts but not for public presentations.

To those questioning the matrix and calls it as “False, garbage”, “Silly diagrams” & “Grade school matrix” and all at the same time call themselves as journalists and communications experts. Please take time to research more about the technology before you say more stupidity in public.

To those who says Gretchen Ho and Hidilyn Diaz are not part of the network against Duterte or is at the very least have not been part of the communication network just because they are so innocent and cute looking better do more research on link analysis technologies. Them being on the matrix does not mean they participated actively on a conspiracy but one thing for sure they are within the network and there are electronic data that will back it up.

Now, on the presentation for all its propaganda purposes failed because Panelo do not possess the critical technical know how on the technology and he lacks the presentation savvy skills needed for such a complex presentation. The matrix in itself should have been made more simple and with lesser people on it. They should have just focused on the major personalities and organizations with the highest prominence in the network to keep the presentation simpler and easier to understand for a layman and just give a stern warning that there are more names on the list and that the government is closely watching them and some of these are famous artists and sports personalities. That should have been circumspect and should have given a chilling effect to everyone who have in one way or another have received or shared the Bikoy video. #DataisKing
