Mark Lopez’s exclusive economic zone (EEZ) explainer, hailed by netizens as the best explanation, simple pero rocks!

EEZ or exclusive economic zone!

This is the buzz word on social media for the past few weeks, since the news of the Recto Bank incident involving the Chinese and PH fishing vessels broke out.

While some have a good grasp of the concept of “EEZ or exclusive economic zone”, the same cannot be said of some Pinoy Facebook netizens.

But, thanks to radio host and blogger Mark Lopez for running to the rescue of those who can’t still fully grasp the concept of EEZ.

Lopez promised to make his explanation very simple about EEZ (exclusive economic zone) and he did deliver!

Lopez used the analogy of a house and lot owner to explain the concept of EEZ.

Here’s the scenario Lopez have drawn up to explain the concept of EEZ to make it easily understood to Grade 5 pupils.

Simplehan natin –

Know the difference.

Huwag maging Leni.

Netizen Thomas Joseph Arce expounded Lopez’s explanation.

Para simple. Territory: lamang dagat sayo.

Netizen Aldrin Lopez remarked that Mark Lopez’s explanation was very simple that even Grade 1 students can understand.

Netizen Colleen Legarda described Mark Lopez’s explanation as the best and simple.

OMG this is the best explanation! Simple! Ngayon talaga bang Di naiintindihan nga mga ungas sa kabilang parlour (in other words, engot) or they just really want to confuse people?
