After finding herself in the defensive end for refusing to cut short her US vacation, Robredo has been on media offensive defending her action.
In one of her first interviews with the local media, Robredo said, “Ganoon talaga. Nandoon ako na parang ang sama ng loob ko na may nangyayari dito na wala ako. Isang bagay na hindi din ako masaya, siguro marami din tayong ginawa while wala dito, inaasikaso ang lahat ng relief, pero iba talaga kasi ‘pag ako mismo ang nandito.”
Previously, a netizen named Jude Sta. Maria shared the photo below, purportedly Leni’s 2016 vacation photo.
A text inserted in the photo urge the public to check if Robredo’s statement on TV agrees with her demeanor on the photo.

Meanwhile, another batch of photos surface online to counter Robredo’s claim that she was miserable knowing that her ‘kababayans’ are suffering from the effects of typhoon Nina.
Facebook user Elgin Castillo Lazaro III shared the photos of Robredo and her family enjoying a white Christmas in different settings.
In one of the photos, the Washington monument stood as the backdrop of the Robredo’s family outing if I am not mistaken.
The next two photos showed the Robredo’s braving the winter cold just to capture the white snow in the backdrop.
