Previously, Sta. Isabel said it was Dumlao who ordered him to dispose the body of the South Korean businessman, who was allegedly killed by strangulation inside Camp Crame on the same day he was abducted.
Sta. Isabel also claimed Dumlao ordered him to kill Morquicho, but the suspects instead let her go. Sta. Isabel even claimed that he gave fare to Jee to return home.
Dumlao has insisted his innocence of the crime.
On January 24, 2017, Jerry Omlang told PNP Chief Bato dela Rosa that he was a driver of an NBI director.
The NBI denied claims Omlang was an asset of the NBI and a driver of one of an NBI director.
“Hindi naman ‘to agent. Kung sinasabi ng sinuman na siya ay NBI agent, kathang isip lang ‘yun, may sira sa utak yung nagsasabi ng NBI agent,” NBI Director Dante Gierran said.
According to investigation agent Darwin Camilo Lising, Omlang was a former errand boy at the NBI since 2005.
Lising said he met Omlang when he was assigned at the NBI Anti-Human Trafficking Division in 2007.
“Hindi po siya empleyado ng bureau. Volunteer lang po siya; taga-timpla ng kape. Inuutusan bumili ng pagkain. He comes and goes as he pleases. Wala pong definite time ang pagpasok niya,” Lising said.
Previously, SPO4 Roy Villegas, another cop involved in the Jee Icj Joo slay pointed Sta. Isabel and a certain Jerry as part of the group who abducted the South Korean businessman from his home in Angeles City on October 18, 2016.
