A photo of a woman “practicing shading of a smaple ballot” has been the subject of a new controversy angering netizens has been doing the rounds online.
In a Facebook post shared 60 times by angry netizens, a certain Edwin Miguel from QC published the controversial photo to show his disappointment of the alleged pre-election violation committed by the administration party of Pnoy and Mar Roxas.
In the post, the netizen claimed the incident happened in his barangay where the people in the neighborhood were given the chance to practice their skills in shading the ballot just weeks away before the May 9 election.
Mr. Miguel added that the idea is simple: “VOTE STRAIGHT LP, or else, you need to repeat and vote straight LP,” he wrote.
The netizen expressed his disappointment of the Liberal Party’s arm-twisting method and wrote:
I’m for Leni though but WTFFFF. Anong klaseng galawan ‘to???
He further explained the picture to his friends who were asking expound on his post and this is what he has to say on the matter.
“Pre-elections” daw ‘to sa mga barangay sa town namin. Practice shading daw. Idk what’s the point. Some people shaded Duterte for president but were told to shade Mar Roxas instead, and to vote straight LP. (They said it was pre-elections in their barangay. Practice shading they were told.
