Duterte critic Sen. Risa Hontiveros went berserk on Twitter versus PRRD calling the President “spineless and feckless before China” in the wake of the Duterte’s statement re Recto Bank mishap as “maritime accident”.
Hontiveros tweeted that PRRD’s statement on the Recto Bank hit-&-run incident says a lot of the President.
Hontiveros, in a sarcastic tone, thanked the President for confirming her impression of him all along that he is “violent & cruel towards the poor, foul-mouthed & obscene to women and democracy advocates, but feckless and spineless before China.”
Facebook blogger MJ Quiambao Reyes, apparently hurt by the insults hurled by the senator towards the direction of PRRD, returned the favor by admonishing the senator that her statement and displaced boldness is tantamount to stupidity.
Reyes then asked Hontiveros where was she when the PNoy admin was overly cautious and even quick to absolve China despite the reported death and injuries on similar incident involving China and the Philippines in 2012.
Reyes urged Hontiveros to make a constructive criticism other than calling out China, filing a diplomatic protest (which they already did!) and extending help to the fishermen (already in place Reyes claimed) even when all 22 are alive, boat afloat (Fil-Chinese businessmen offered to finance boat repair) and probe still ongoing.
Reyes told Hontiveros that PRRD and his supporters do really care for our fishermen, our people and country beyond words.
Reyes ended the post by leaving Hontiveros with quotes that should knock some sense into Hontiveros’ mind which you read by scrolling down to the bottom.

Dear Ms. Hontiveros,
Where were you when the previous admin (where you belong) was overly cautious and was even quick to absolve China despite the reported death & injuries on similar incident between China & Philippines in 2012?
What else do you want this admin to do now apart from calling out China, filing a diplomatic protest (w/c they already did!), and extending help to our fishermen (w/c is also in place) even when all 22 are alive, their boat afloat, & investigation still ongoing?
Our President as well as his many supporters (myself included) care for our fishermen, our people, our country way beyond words.
Cautiousness is different from cowardice.
Recklessness is not the same as bravery.
Your statement & displaced boldness is tantamount to stupidity.
