Oman-based Pinay MD and netizen blogger Rolaiza Mimi Singayao chided SOH Duque for statement to the PDI that the re-emergence of polio was due to vaccine scare caused by the dengvaxia controversy?
Singayao said this is totally a lie.
In the Facebook post published 20 September 2019, Singayao opened by asking in disbelief that such pronouncements could come from the SOH himself, “Papaanong vaccine scare ang dahilan ng re-emergence ng polio?“
Singayao asked how can kids below 5 years old get their OPV dose when as early as 2015 the DOH have not enough vaccine for distribution?
Papaano magpapa-patak sina bebe, ate gurl at ate boy under 5 years old e, wala naman palang sapat na Oral Polio Vaccine o OPV na nadistribute ang DOH mula 2015?
There was a low number of kids getting their vaccines because there was no vaccines available, Singayao added.
Mababa ang bilang ng nagpa-papatak dahil halos walang patak na available!
In the last 5 years, the DOH failed to reach to 80% of targeted clients, is it still vaccine scare, Singyao asked? It was late December 2017 when the Dengvaxia scare reupted, Singayao declared.
Sa loob ng 5 taon na failure ng DOH to reach 80% ng patak clients, vaccine scare pa rin? Late Dec. 2017 na sumambulat ang isyu ng Dengvaxia, ah!
Singayao addressed her question to SOH Duque where and why the OPV vaccines were not distributed and administered to kids?
Tanungin natin si SOH: Nasaan at bakit hindi na-distribute at nai-patak ang OPV?
Singayao told Sec. Duque that as early as 2014, there was already an update from the WHO, CDC of the US and COA the re-emergence of polio.
May 2014-2018 COA reports at may World Health Organization (WHO) at US Centers for Disease Control (CDC) updates on polio na available. Para sa ating impormasyon.
Singayao ended the FB post by telling SOH Duque to pass this information to someone he knows who wants to become a doctor (Tricia Robredo) for her indulgence.
Pa inform na lang din po natin yong mga nagdodoktor dyan.
