Retired broadcaster bares biggest losers of ABS-CBN shutdown, says blame falls squarely on Lopezes

Retired broadcaster Jay Sonza bared the biggest losers in the ABS-CBN/Lopez family shutdown drama in latest FB post.

In the FB post, Sonza gave netizens a break down of the money owed by the Lopez-owned ABS-CBN to different banks (government and private) that runs in billions of pesos.

Sonza also mentioned the lost income of suppliers, contractors and livelihood of rank and file employees due to ABS-CBN closure.

Sonza could only ask why the owners of ABS-CBN allowed its government franchise to expire when they had all the time to renew it.

Sonza ended the FB post by laying all the blame to the Lopezes. Not Duterte. Not the government. Not Congress and not the court.

ang malaking talo sa usaping abs cbn/lopez family ay ang sumusunod:

a. Development Bank of the Philippines – 2 ulit nagoyo ng pamilya/kumpanyang Lopez ang gobyerno 1.6 Bilyon nitong huli at 600 milyong dolyares (P30 Bilyon) noong dekada 70.

b. Bank of the Philippine Island – mahigit 11 bilyong piso ang kasalukuyang utang mula sa mga depositors at investors tulad nina Ayala at Roman Catholic Church/Diochese of Manila

C. Union Bank of the Philippines – mahigit 10 bilyong piso ang kasalukuyang utang mula sa mga depositors at investors tulad ng pamilya Aboitiz.

d. BDO, RCBC, Security at iba pang Bangko sa Pilipinas – bilyones na utang mula sa mga depositors at investors tulad nina Sy, Consunji at Villar, ang nanganganib sa pagsasara ng abs cbn broadcasting.

e. Suppliers of equipment and materials. independent production companies and agencies. Caterers, contractors, talent agencies.

f. independent contractors, artists, talents, manpower agencies, line and co-production companies.

g. rank & file employees, supervisors, middle management officers, junior executives.

The question is….

Why did the owners/Lopez Family allowed abs-cbn broadcasting corporation to lose its government business franchise when they had more than enough time or about 20 years to renew or get additional new franchises to cover their questionable (illegal) allied businesses like TV plus, KBO, Pay Per View and Internet?

Why?

Walang ibang may kasalanan dito kundi ang mga ma-ari, ang pamilya Lopez.

Hindi ang gobyerno. Hindi ang kongreso. Hindi ang korte. Hindi si Duterte.
