Robin Padilla on Gen.

This is the reaction of actor Robin Padilla on the statement of Southern Luzon Commander Lt. Gen. Antonio Parlade Jr. telling Liza Soberano and Catriona Gray to stay away from Gabriela for their own good.

Padilla acknowledged that we Filipinos are free to fight for something, whether it’s personal cause or the general public. He urged Filipinos to shout all their might but there is no reason to inflict pain to our fellow Filipinos who does not agree with one’s opinion.

Padilla stated that as long as you do not violate any Philippine law and majority of Filipinos agree with you, you may continue fighting for your advocacy and never stop.

Padilla remarked this is just a simple reminder to our youths from someone like him who is also a leftist.

Padilla shared his wisdom and that there are many things in the world that we thought we are knowledgeable because we read it on Google or books but he reminded the youths that knowing something from books/someone/net isn’t knowledge.

“Napakaraming bagay dito sa mundo ang inaakala natin na Alam na natin dahil nabasa mo na sa google o sa libro but remember our dearest youth Knowing something from someone/books and the net is not knowledge.”

Padilla went on to elaborate what he meant about knowledge is not knowledge until you experience it yourself.

Knowledge is experiencing what you know.

Padilla ended the brief FB post by leaving a passage from the bible for netizens to reflect on.

Ecclesiastes 11:9 ►

“You who are young, be happy while you are young, and let your heart give you joy in the days of your youth. Follow the ways of your heart and whatever your eyes see, but know that for all these things God will bring you into judgment.”
