Sara Duterte on PRRD, “God qoute” controversy: “Don’t waste your negative energy on his interpretation of the bible, that is his opinion”

After a long silence, Sara Zimmerman Duterte has spoken on the “God quote” issue.

The presidential daughter and Davao City Mayor told the public not to listen to him interpret the bible or quoran. Because PRRD is neither a priest, a pastor nor an imam.

Sara added that the public should only listen when the President speaks about his work, criticize him on his work not on his “talkkalese”.

Sara told the public not to waste their negative energy on his father’s interpretation of the bible because that is his opinion. She said his father is protected by his Constitutional right to freedom of speech and expression.

Sara Duterte also touched on the #babaeako social media campaign of the critics which she said was doomed from the very start because among her siblings (two boys), she was PRRD’s favorite.

Sara explained that what PRRD doesn’t like lies not in the gender but in the character of the person.

She said PRRD has no respect for weakness. Some women and even some male, including the #babaeako social media campaign promoters.

1) This is the first time I will say it out loud and I hate to admit it because I love my two brothers too much but yes I am the favorite child, so that #babaeako campaign is doomed. What he doesn’t like lies not in the gender, but in the character, he has no respect for weakness. And many women and some men are known to be damsels in distress, that #babaeako included. 2) Please do not listen to him interpret the bible or quoran, he is not a priest, a pastor or an imam. He is the President, listen only when he speaks about his work. And criticize him on his work not on his “talkkalese” 🤣🤣🤣 Do not waste your negative energy on his interpretation of the bible, that is his opinion. He is protected by the Constitutional right to freedom of speech and expression even if he is President. #indaysaraduterte

Sara’s post has been getting positive response from her Facebook followers.

Dierdre Dela Cruz:

“We Love our President and we respect kung ano man ang mga salitang lumalabas sa bibig nya, wat is very important he is doing a very good job as a lider. Yong media subra mag bigay ng di magandang kahulugan, meaning nag aantay laang sila ng negatibo at pag piyestahan nila or let just say para kumita sila huhuhuhu, poor mainstream media. But when it comes to our Presdints achievements deadma sila. So Go Go Go Mayor😍💞💖❤️ simula nang naupo si President di sila naging patas puro panira at puna sa mga pina tutupad ng ating Pangulo.”

Bob Bautista

“big fan and supporter for both. i don’t waste time reading or watching those bias media. i have more things to worry about like paghipos sa akong hinayhay kay basig muulan. hehe.”

Jorge Barba:

“The president is unwittingly using the Bible in principle and was just attacking a strawman. No harm was done and it offers a salutary opportunity to talk about proper biblical views.

I was thankful to him for doing it, albeit in salutary way.”
