The government then and now, after natural disasters according to fearless Krizette: It’s so different now!

“Do you remember the time it was always so stressful after a tragedy or a calamity struck one part of our country?” fearless Krizette began the post.

“We would have all these fundraising efforts, RED CROSS or ABS CBN or GMA active in asking for donations, all these repacking volunteers needed?” Krizette remembered that time of the previous administration wherein all major TV stations had marathon fund-raising for the typhoon victims.

But things are achanging says fearless Krizette Laureta Chu, the pretty and articulate Duterte blogger.

“Under Duterte, major typhoons have hit, from Ilocos/Batanes, Bicol region, and Surigao was hit by an earthquake, and there even have been bombings with fatalities, but it’s so different now.”

“Parang walang mad dash ang mga TV stations or private individuals na bongga,” Krizette noted.

Krizette said that whether Duterte’s critics admit it or not, a palpable change under the current administration is happening.

“Kasi aminin man nila o hindi, for the first time in our history, we feel like our government will and is very capable to take care of things. That it has not met a disaster or a calamity it cannot take care of on its own. And now the President is in Surigao.”

“That’s how a government should be. Nasanay lang tayo sa palpak,” Krizette said in an emphatic voice.

Krizette ended her post by thanking the hardworking, dynamo pair of Taguiwalo and Duterte.

“Thank you, DSWD Sec. Judy M. Taguiwalo
Thank you, Supreme Lord Duterte.”
