Will Look: Will Sen. Kiko Pangilinan and Renato Reyes accept netizen’s dare to walk the talk as champion of Filipino workers?

The Philippines has a steady supply of people who consider themselves as the champion of the ordinary Filipino workers.

Does Kiko Pangilinan, Risa Hontiveros, Bam Aquino and Renato Reyes ring a bell? Whether they are for real or not, that we will find out later.

Here’s what Sen. Pangilinan wrote on Facebook to sympathize with the Filipino worker’s plight on this year’s Labor Day celebration.

Bayan’s Renato Reyes has been a permanent fixture in street protests for the last 20 years or so, spanning several presidents fighting for the Filipino workers’ welfare.

Meanwhile, Krizette Laureta Chu, a social media blogger and known Duterte supporter couldn’t contain her emotions towards critics, especially those who showed little or no appreciation of Duterte’s order banning illegal contracting of labor in the Philippines.

In frustration, Chu thinks that the best way to put these so-called workers’ rights advocates to a test is to challenge them to put their money where their mouth is. How? Continue reading below to find out.

Chu’s first salvo was directed at Sen. Kiko Pangilinan.

She challenged the senator to present his farm workers who will then tell the public they are permanent workers with benefits like SSS, PhilHealth etc. and enjoying paid leaves like their counterparts in the regular work force.

Likewise, Chu took a swipe at Bayan’s Renato Reyes by asking his past and present housemaids to shed light whether they have contracts or getting paid above the minimum wage by their employer.

The likes of Drilon, de Lima and Mar Roxas were not spared either by Chu’s dare.

Check out the full text of Chu’s FB post below.

Kiko Pangilinan, before you decry Duterte’s End of Endo EO, present your farm workers and let them tell us that all of them are permanent workers with benefits like PAG IBIG, SSS, Philhealth, and Medicard, with paid leaves as per the law.

Sino pa ang may reklamo? You better walk your talk or your fallout is going to be great.

Calling all of Renato Reyes’ past and present helpers, alagang alaga naman kayo ni Renato? More than minimum wage naman ang pinapa suweldo sa inyo ni Renato? May contract din kayo?

Calling all the yayas of Drilon, Aquino, everybody na akala mo Employee of the Year.

Calling the yayas of Mar and Korina Sanchez Roxas.

Ikaw Ronnie Dayan, de contrata ka naman nung driver ka ni De Lima?

Ang susunod na mag rereklamo ay kakalkalin ang history.
