Brave mother of student activist reacts to Risa Hontiveros’ statement, “if Jesus was alive today, he could have been an activist”

A certain netizen named Relissa Santos Lucena totally rejected the notion of Senator Risa Hontiveros that if Jesus was alive today, he would be an activist.

Lucena countered that Jesus had never been a rebel. He gave his life to mankind. He was a good son and never made his mother worry when he was a minor. He started spreading the word of God when he was in his 30s.

“Hindi naging rebelde si Hesus! He gave His life to save mankind.

And Lucena took a swipe at the Left by highlighting the contrast between Jesus who never had disciples who will wreak havoc to his country or his people and the former who recruits followers to their cause to carry out their goal and that is to overthrow the government by violent means.

Lucena ended the FB post with a prayer, asking the Lord our Creator to keep the country safe from the Communist who wants to destroy Filipino families and youths. She also asked God to bring order to the Philippines and give our youths a good future and the next generation who will inherit it.

For so many years Lord You’ve proven me how blessed I am. In Jesus name amen”
