Comelec en banc reaffirms Poe’s disqualification cases, may run to SC for help

In a scoop report filed by Joseph Morong of GMA News a few hours ago, Senator Grace Poe has lost the two motions for reconsiderations she filed at the Comelec en bank in an attempt to reverse the earlier decisions reached by the two Comelec Divisions that saw the Presidential aspirations of the Senator in jeopardy.

Comelec Commissioner Rowena Guanzon spoke to reporters, including GMA News announcing the seven-member Comelec panel has already reached a decision and just wrapping up the case.

According to the source of GMA News, the two Comelec Divisions has denied the motions filed by the camp of Senator Grace Poe. It can be recalled that several petitioners questioned the citizenship and residency of Senator Grace Poe before the Comelec. Just recently, the decisions were reached that favored the petitioners.

According to Joseph Morong, the camp of Senator Grace Poe has no other recourse but to seek a favorable ruling of her cases in the Supreme Court.
