Fearless netizens catches another lie from yellow journalists, tells ’em to stop using Mayor Isko for their own agenda

Truth be told! The outrage of DDS bloggers and supporters against Mayor Isko Moreno for allegedly throwing shade at PRRD’s war on drugs turned out to be misplaced.

If you’d recall, DDS bloggers led by lawyer Trixie Cruz-Angeles et. al lashed at Mayor Isko Moreno on Facebook after his “35 ang inaresto, 35 ang buhay” statement was immortalized by PhilStar in a meme.

To give you an idea what the fuss was all about, I urged you to take a look at the Isko Moreno meme shared by PhilStar that elicited angry reactions from DDS bloggers.

As I’ve said before, the DDS bloggers who reacted angrily versus Mayor Isko Moreno believing Mayor Isko was trying to make PRRD look bad while he was the “bida” was actually inaccurate.

In a Facebook post, Reyes c;aimed that she watched the entire video of Mayor Isko’s press conference and what she found out validated public perception that indeed local media, especially the yellow journalists and propagandists would twist the words of their subjects (Mayor Isko) to suit their yellow agenda.

Reyes accused the yellow media slanting and splicing Mayor Isko’s statement to further their own narrative.

TWISTED MEDIA STRIKES AGAIN

I watched his presscon at heto totoong sinabi ni Mayor Isko Moreno Domagoso:

“Another good news, out of the 35 arrested, 35 buhay… We don’t tolerate them (pointing at the drug users and pushers), we don’t like them in our city… They are considered suspects, let them prove their innocence before the court. Pero ganun din ang babala ko, ang paalala, may human rights din ang pulis, may karapatan din ang pulis na mabuhay kapag sila’y nalagay sa alanganing sitwasyon.”
