Well, former DLSU prof Van Ybiernas has taken to Facebook asking the same question to his social media followers why SOH Duque has been spared by the “DILAWS” despite the successive epic fails of the DOH like the polio scare?
The former DLSU professor couldn’t help but ask the opinion of social media whether Acosta’s is so popular that her statements to the media (re Dengvaxia) carrries a lot of weight that it sent chills to parents, influencing their decisions not to have their kids vaccinated?
Ybiernas reckoned that if Acosta is indeed very popular, she could run for President by riding on her popularity and win by landslide. However, Ybiernas said this is not the case because Acosta even fared badly among senatorial survey.

Isa pa, kung sobrang maimpluwensiya ni Acosta at siya ang dahilan kung bakit hindi nagpapabakuna ang mga Pilipino, aba’y pwede na pala siya kumandidatong pangulo at siguradong landslide.
Kaso maski nga para sa senado lang, mababa ang ranking ni Acosta. Samakatuwid, hindi siya ganun ka maimpluwensiya.
