In a Facebook post, former ABS-CBN journalist and self-confessed Duterte supporter, Ira Panganiban has offered the strongest argument why choosing Duterte over the likes of Binay, Roxas and the lot is something that we should do as a people if we want to see meaningful CHANGES in our country.

The former ABS-CBN employee and Editor-in-Chief of Wheels Philippine Magazine compared the Filipino attitude towards voting to insanity because people expect change when we continue to do the same thing or elect the same set of leaders and traditional politicians and quote, “Insanity is doing the same thing over and over but expecting a different outcome.”

Because sometimes the deep blue waters may scare us, the wild jungle may intimidate us, but until we climb the mountain and cross the wide ocean, we will never meet our dreams or fulfill our destiny.

This is how I think when I cast my vote for Mayor Rodrigo Duterte.

We are scared of those that are different. Afraid of change. Terrified of the unknown and unfamiliar. That is why we…
