Here’s how some pundits saw the Pilipinas Debates 2 in Cebu; full video (No Commercial)!

In case you’ve missed the Pilipinas Debates 2 in Cebu, you may watch the video below.

This is the debate that Rappler said Grace Poe won. Professor Antonio Contreras disagreed and I quote:

Haha. Rappler judged that Poe won the debate. I must have watched the wrong debate then.

But here’s how Ira Panganiban summarizes the Pilipinas Debates 2 in Cebu.

My thoughts?

Binay is not very articulate. Duterte acts like a neighborhood goon. Poe revealed her amateurish mind. Roxas talks too much to cover stress and pikon. And that is our line-up of possible leaders for the next 6-years. Are we sure they are our only choice?

Do you agree how Mr. Panganiban sees your candidate in the debate?

Here’s how Atty. Bruce Rivera saw Duterte’s performance in the Pilipinas Debates 2 in Cebu:

Mayor Duterte

So it is still Duterte for me. He is not a good debater because a leader does not debate to get things done. A leader does not need to make point in two minutes because a leader just get things done, most of the time without talking and debating. Because if you are good in talking and debating, the Senate and Congress is the best job for you.

The executive branch is implementing and doing. I need a man who will do it and not just talk about it.

The Rappler seems to agree Atty Rivera’s assessment on Duterte’s performance in the debate because Mayor Rodrigo Duterte was the runaway winner in the online voting conducted by Rappler after the Pilinas Debate 2 in Cebu.

Do you have any suggestion/s to make the Presidential debates better?
