In the midst of the attacks directed at him, Manny Pacquiao said he was perplexed of the intensity of the attack of his political foes. He said he did not steal, fool other people or stepped on others toes. He is merely following what his heart says, to fight for what his commitment to the people.
Pastor Apollo Quiboloy disagreed with Senator Manny Pacquiao that he is being pulled down and destroyed by his political foes. According to Pastor Quiboloy, it was self-inflicted because he keeps talking and talking (making allegations) and yet he cannot prove what he said.
On that note, Pastor Quiboloy wants to solicit the Senator’s statement on the issue of the P3.5B Philippine Sports Training Center in Sarangani province. Pastor Quiboloy said the public is keen to know his side on the project.

Netizens have mixed reactions on Pastor Quiboloy’s reaction to Pacquiao’s statement. However, majority are leaning towards the former.

This is also echoed by another netizen who said Pacquiao started it and when Pres. Duterte retaliated, Pacquiao is using the victim card.

Meanwhile, some netizens did not agree with Pastor Quiboloy mixing religion woth politics. “Anu ba ang connection ng religious affair ninyo sa pulitika ng pilipinas at bakit masyado kayong nagagalit at nakikialam sa problema ng politika ng pilipinas? At bakit Yung pinaka malaking grupo ng religious affair nanjan Ang romano catoliko at Islam e Hindi sila nag papabida at nakikialam sa mga usapin ng pamahalaan?”
