International relations expert, Pinoy netizens react to Greta Thunberg’s anti-Marcos rhetoric, ‘No climate justice under Marcos’

Wutt? Greta Thunberg is now attacking President Bongbong Marcos!!!

ICYMI, the Swedish international climate activist made the anti-Marcos rhetoric in a video message to progressive groups holding a cultural protest at University of the Philippines Diliman, in commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the Martial Law declaration: “We cannot attain climate justice under fascist leaders.” [Link here]

International relations expert and SMNI Statecraft host Sass Rogando Sasot slammed the Swedish international climate activist in a Facebook post while offering her unsolicited advice.

“Wow. Greta, stop meddling in brown folks politics. You don’t know what you are talking about.”

Pinoy netizens also joined Ms. Sasot in reprimanding the Swedist activist as shown in the comments below.

One person commented Greta she was barking at the wrong tree and told to address her concerns to the 1st world countries because they are the worst climate offenders.

Greta you are barking on the wrong tree. Address your concern to the first world/highly industrialized countries. They are the ones polluting our planet.

Its clear na na ginagamit lang sya as if meron talaga syang say salahat ng bagay  wrote another dude.

Another individual who said she is based in Sweden asked fellow Pinoys to have patience with Greta because even in Sweden, she is not taken seriously.

Pasensya na po kayo sa batang yan.. kulang po sa aruga. Nasa sweden po ako pero susme wala naman naniniwala sa kanya dito

This commenter dismissed Greta’s tirade versus PBBM as nonsense because she is just a paid activist.

She’s paid to do it. Just like her climate change thing, she’s paid too

Another person accused the media of trying to manipulate the Filipinos again using Greta.

The media is trying to manipulate the Filipinos again! lol Let’s see how far your stupidity can go. Majority of the Filipinos are very much aware and awake now.
