In his Facebook post, retired broadcaster Jay Sonza wrote something about “the road to a better Philippines”.
Sonza claimed there is only one missing link to our quest for a better Philippines. He said our economic infrastructure elements are already completed. For sure, critics will howl in protest upon reading Sonza’s claim.
“Isa na lang ang kulang, buong-buo na economic infrastructure elements ng bansang Pilipinas.”
“We are almost done with improving our railroad and mass transport systems,” Sonza boasted.
At this juncture, Sonza revealed what he believe is the missing link of the country’s road to better Philippines.
“Clean, steady, and dependable energy supply and power reserves from a nuclear power plant na lang ang kulang.”
Sonza went on to enumerate the positive developments in the Philippines, courtesy of the Duterte admin, the so-called vital infrastructures that will take us to a prosperous and better Philippines.
1.Mayroon na tayong mga bago at sapat na airport sa ating bansa.
2. Mayroon na tayong mga bago at malalapad na tulay.
3. Mayroon na tayong mga bagong highways, freeways and farm to market roads.
4. Mayroon na tayong reliable domestic at international seaports.
5. Mayroon na tayong karagdagang telecom service providers.
6. Mayroon tayong labis-labis na international dollar reserve.
7. Mayroon na tayong stable investment and business policies.
8. Malapit na nating mabuo ang industrial peace sa labor front.
9. Malapit ng maubos ang mga business extortionists na NPA.
10. Mayroon tayong political stability o matatag na gobyerno backed by 97% of the people.
Jay Sonza’s post has generated 6,000+ reactions, 700+ shares and 390+ comments in just 5 hours since he published it on FB and still counting.
Of course, not all netizens agree with Sonza and they made to express their opinion what needs to be done by participating in the discussion.
“ANg malaking kakulangan sa Pilipinas ay DISPLINA para umayos ang takbo ng pamumuhay at pag nangurakot dapat ay kulong o firing squad na,’ one netizen wrote.
Another netizen partially disagreed with Sonza’s claim.
“Though I agree with all his thoughts, I still do believe the political system or structure should be changed as well and COMELEC. Senators Must be represented by every region. And whoever is in legislative should also be assigned/appointed in the executive. Total, magaling sila na kritiko. At least, sila sila magbabangayan. COMELEC – We need to overhaul it making sure the canvassing is clean, honest transparent and accountable!”
“MAYRON PA RING HADLANG SA PAGUNLAD ITONG MGA INUTIL NA MGA SENADOR AT MAMBABATAS NA KALIWETE WAG PO TAUNG BUMUTO SA MGA HINAYUPAK NA ITO PARA DEREDERECHO ANG ATING PAGUNLAD ZERO VOTE SA LAHAT NG LPIGS“ commented the third netizen.
“All correct. ang kulang nalang Sir Jay political maturity and sociological aspect ng. maraming Pinoy(Disiplina and industry)..in a nutshell GMRC sa mga namumuno at pinamumunuan..with these plus what you have aforementioned will bring about brisk, vibrant economy plus honest ,dedicated leaders-Perfect! Sarap ng life sa Pinas,” another netizen joined the conversation.
