According to the latest post of the website topuniversities.com, Singapore and Malaysia garnered the most number of universities in the best 15 of Southeast Asia best universities 2022.
National University of Singapore and Nanyang Tech University of Singapore topped the list, followed by Malaysia at 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th spot. Chulalongkorn University of Thailand collared the 7th spot. The 8th and 9th spots were collared by Malaysia once again. Thailand took 3 spots in the list while Indonesia took the 11th, 12th and 13th spots. Brunei took the 14th spot. Malaysia took the 15th spot.
Unfortunately, no Philippine universities made it to the list of the top 15 universities in the region.
In light of this upsetting news, retired broadcaster Jay Sonza took this as an opportunity to taunt the top 4 universities in the Philippines for not making the list of the prestigious universities in Southeast Asia.
Sonza remarked that an alum from one of those 4 Philippine universities feels like he/she is creme dela creme and a woke.
Sonza hated the arrogance when these wokes behave, turned out when compared to the products of the universities in Southeast Asia, they are not at par with their counterparts.
Sonza ended the FB post by proudly saying that he graduated from a public school in Bansalan but he was awarded the Best Television presenter in Asia in the 90s and bagged a silver medal in NY International Television Festival at that time.
You may now read Sonza’s original FB post below.
