Lacierda’s ‘kinder-style’ poem hitting Duterte, Marcos backfires, Krizette Chu’s poem response amuses internet

In an attempt to make fun of President Duterte’s close alliance with Bongbong Marcos and Alan Peter Cayetano, Lacierda wrote a brief fairytale-style poem for this purpose.

Lacierda used Rappler Twitter gimmick to commemorate “Buwan ng Wika” by asking its followers to send terrible poem on the spot.

There once was a ruler named Digong, whose best friend forever was Bongbong; He had an alalay named Cayetano; who always aspired to be numero uno. But Twitter only allows two hundred eighty characters, so i dont know if the three lived happily ever after. The end.

Lacierda’s tweet did not make a lot of Duterte supporters happy, who hastily composed a brief but witty retorts at Lacierda’s fairytale-inspired verses mocking Duterte, Marcos and Cayetano.

Check out the responses of Twitterverse below.

Juan Tamad @JuanTam82204630

Is this poetry in motion? Better be good, it sounds and looks awful. Bitterness overload.

Edwin Lacierda @dawende replied:

Mr. Tamad, dont be mad. Bitter i am not, it’s meant to be makunat. Poetry in motion, this ain’t the station. Why ain’t it so? Because its #BadPoetryDay

Beyond this, Lacierda quit replying to criticism.

Josephine Silagan @LakerJoy16

Gutom lang yan Sir ,uhaw pa tulog mo lang yan pag gising mo si Duterte pa rin ang Presidente 😍 tulog ka uli pag gising mo sa BBM na Bise bow

Netizen Riggermaya321 @riggermaya321 tweaked Lacierda’s verse, in an attempt to amuse twitter verse.

There once was a ruler named Noy Abnoy whose best friend forever was Mar; He had an alalay named Edwin who always aspired to be numero uno. But Twitter only allows two hundred eighty characters, so i dont know if the three lived happily ever after. The end.

Radio host and social media blogger Mark Lopez jumped in, mocked Lacierda as a poor version of Merlin, if you remember your King Arthur and the Excalibur story.

There once was a merlin
Whose name was Edwin
He tried to make his master good
Even if he was a deadwood
Poor Merlin Edwin
Full of shit, did not win

Meanwhile on Facebook, Krizette Laureta Chu posted a witty and hard hitting retort to Lacierda’s verse mocking Duterte, Marcos and Cayetano.

In the poem, Chu described Lacierda as clueless, little, bratty, jobless, scheming and pathetic bitch who is trolling the profile of Duterte supporters in exchange for money from his LP bosses.

here was a little bitch named Lacierda
Of decency he had not one iota
He pretended to be fair
The truth is he didn’t care
He only wanted to please his master for the moolah

There was a bratty bitch named Lacierda
For trolling, he had a quota
Well, he was out of work
So what he did with his time was to lurk
On the profiles of Duterte supporters

There was a jobless bitch named Lacierda
who probably wished he had payola
The chismis is he created some fake pages
Where he got his pathetic wages
But on his own page he blocked real brothas

There was a scheming bitch named Lacierda
who couldnt write a bad poem if he had to
And oh wow such a sore loser
And what a good reminder
That then you didn’t need skill, just be a political powtah.

There was a clueless bitch named Lacierda
And yes, to answer: the three lived happily ever after
Unlike you and your master
Both of you forever goners
May I add, in jail, with y’all corrupt, stupid, evil barkada.

There was a pathetic bitch named Lacierda
Who lost his job no thanks to typhoon Yolanda.

THE END
