A netizen named Gideon Pena tweeted claiming the Duterte government has increased the budget for the Office of the President while cutting down budgets in health, agriculture and labor and employment.
According to Pena, PRRD has increased the allocation to his own office from P2.9 billion to P20.03 billion with P7 billion going to representation and entertainment expenses.
On top of that, PRRD also cut the budget for health by P31 billion; agriculture by P3.6 billion and employment by P5.3 billion.
He ended the tweet by saying, “Yep. That’s tapang at malasakit.”

Jover Laurio of Pinoy Ako Blog hastily reposted Gideon Pena’s, thinking she had something that would trigger public anger against the Duterte administration.
And here comes Dr. Andrea Carigma, a known Duterte supporter on social media, who did not waste an opportunity to fact-check the dilawans and humiliate them in social media.
Armed with facts from DBM, Dr. Carigma went on to exposed Gideon Pena’s allegation as nothing but a black propaganda against President Duterte to make the public hate the Duterte government and promote the yellow political agenda.
On Facebook, Carigma asked Gideon Pena and Pinoy Ako Blog where did they get their info.
She went on to post screenshots from the DBM website showing that Gideon Pena was merely getting his facts out of thin air.
