“Isko’s egregious folly.”
This is the worst compliment Yorme Isko Moreno received from a certain netizen named Ethel Pineda, who is actually a medical doctor, a dermatologist, because of his refusal to bow to criticism from Malacanang for following a flawed queuing system in Manila’s vaccination drive.
Doc Pineda took a swipe at Yorme Isko on Facebook after Manila folks shared their horrible experiences while waiting in line as early as midnight just to receive their covid jab, if they get lucky.
“If he cannot find a solution to this queuing problem, then he is unfit for bigger higher office responsibilities.”
While Yorme Isko decided to ignore the constructive criticism suggesting a better solution to his city’s queuing problem because of his ego, Doc Pineda lamented Manila folks have been unnecessarily exposed to the risk for catching covid and other diseases as they lined up to get a covid jab, day in and day out until they finally succeeded to receive the said vaccine.
“Meanwhile, citizens are being endangered. Mass gatherings like this increases risk for catching the covid virus as well as other diseases.”
Doc Pineda ended the brief FB rant by unleashing a mouthful to Yorme Isko Moreno for his hard-headed and egotistic stance to criticism against his Manila’s flawed vaccination system.
“Mr. Mayor. Sobra bang pride mo that you won’t admit this system is a failure? Masaya ka nakikita sila? This is not a box office pila. Hindi na ito That’s Entertainment.”
Netizens jumped into the comment section to share their opinion on the issue.
“Nope. He’d rather be yabang and wrong than to be corrected,” said the 1st commenter.
“Isko will not understand egregious folly unless he googles it!” joked another netizen.
A 3rd netizen compared Manila folks experience in their covid jab journey versus her city.
“Galit pa pag nasita. Sa Marikina very organized. May online form. Nagte-text ang mayor’s office sa mga naka-schedule then tatawag din ang baranggay to get the stub. Walang pila.”
“Sobrang pride ni Yorme di mag accept ng suggestion at failure.Mayabang na masyado di pa naging Presidente yan!!!” commented another netizen.
“Ang tigas ng ulo ni Isko. This will be his undoing” remarked a netizen.
Meanwhile, this Manileno dismissed the notion that the city Manila are only relying on the walk-in policy for their vax jab.
“We registered dec 2020. We got a text June 2021 for our sched. Ayun awa ng dios ubos na un vax kahit scheduled ka na. At sa lahat ng scheduled, ito lang ang first come first served.
