Former Chicago Bulls center Luc Longley has been doing the media rounds telling reporters that Gilas Pilipinas Coach Chot Reyes has told Gilas players to to come out and thug the Aussie players.
"Chot Reyes incited them to come out and thug us."
"Gangster selfies."

While many Filipinos on social media dismissed Longley’s allegation while defending Coach Chot Reyes as someone incapable of instigating his players to go that low, a short video showing Reyes telling Gilas players to hit somebody surfaced on Twitter lately.
According to video uploader Anton Tioseco @antontioseco, Coach Chot Reyes’ instruction came during the timeout just before the brawl.

However, Tioseco clarified he is not insinuating that Reyes directed Gilas players to hurt the Aussies but everything in the tweet is factual.
I am not saying he directed the players to hurt the Australians. Everything in the tweet is factual. He said those words, it was the last time out before the incident happened. But seeing this in light of the events just paints a bad picture for everyone involved

NLEX player Larry Fonacier came to Chot Reyes’ rescue and clarified that based on his personal experience while playing for him in the past, there was nothing unusual about the instruction but to match the opponents’ physical play.
I don't know if this can help. https://t.co/8w0mozYiMm

Meanwhile RED || camila caBAEo @mylittlemissred said she heard it differently.
What is your intention in tweeting this? Kaloka ka clean clean din ng ears pag may time. "Hit some bucket, put somebody on his ass", basically means shot the ball and play defense but that's just me.

Netizen Jerome @JeAranez agreed with RED || camila caBAEo.
"Hit some bucket(s)" Pakinggan mo ule.

Bill Gabay @billgabay remarked that sharing the video is not helping at all for the cause of Chot Reyes and the Gilas players.
Whether it was literal instruction to hurt or a rah-rah “be aggressive with everything you do on the court”, your “sharing” this video does not help the already bad international situation. You could have used your discretion.
