“I am sorry but can you stop politicizing all calamities?”
This is the appeal of Manila Bulletin writer Krizette Laureta Chu to critics of the administration whom she accused of politicizing the calamities once again.
“The office is coordinating with AFP” talaga? Chu asked for clarification if she got the message right.
Chu lectured the politician she refused to mention that part of the AFP’s mandate, the PNP and PCG are relief ops. And these government organizations act without coordinating with anyone. Perhaps, they pay courtesy calls to LGUs.
“Part of AFP, PNP, and PCG mandate are relief operations. They don’t need to coordinate with anyone. You help them by donating through them—they don’t follow your orders because they already know what they are supposed to do.”
Chu remarked it is an insult to the AFP that someone is pretending to be issuing them marching orders.
“It’s an insult to the Sandatahang Lakas that you pretend that you’re firing off orders for things they have been doing all their careers. It’s their mandate. MANDATE. They know what they’re doing. Don’t insult them.”
Chu called it sickening and unacceptable for using the calamity to show off wherein the politician made a series of tweets pretending like he or she the chief and leader of an organization which her party have maligned for the past 4 years.
“IT’S SO SICKENING THAT YOU ARE USING CALAMITIES AS A WAY TO SHOW OFF! IT’S UNACCEPTABLE, THIS SERIES OF TWEETS IN WHICH YOU PRETEND TO BE CHIEF AND LEADER OF AN ORGANIZATION YOUR PARTY HAVE MUCH MALIGNED OVER THE PAST 4 YEARS.”
Chu remarked she can’t take it.
“Hindi ko talaga kaya.”
Chu ended the rant with some words to remember by, of course addressed to the politician she refused to mention the name.
“KUNG TUTULONG WALANG POSTURING”
Actually, Krizette Chu was referring to Leni Robredo.
Our prayers for Cagayan and Isabela. Reading posts now of people asking to be rescued. We deployed our security team to coordinate with AFP all the calls for rescue we are reading now. Will be monitoring and will post updates.

While waiting for augmentation to reach Tuguegarao, our team was able to get in touch with PNP Tuguegarao. We forwarded all the compiled requests and calls for help. Limited assets now but MEDEVAC will be prioritizef.
