Manila Bulletin writer Krizette Laureta Chu can’t help but burst the ego of reporters spreading fake news about the SEA Games but now making self-congratulating post like the food is better now at the SEA Games because they criticized it. In other words, they are grabbing credit.
However, Chu the taray the she is, remarked that if it helps them to feel better about lying about the kikiam that was actually a chicken sausage and the original poster already apologized for it, then we should let this slide.
Of course, Chu did not end her post with sticking a jab at reporters caught peddling fake news by reminding them if they were rational people, they could have easily stalked the chefs involved like what she did or give them a call and ask the food preparations since this has been set for months.
Chu said it is easy to double check if they are really doing their jobs right. Said the food has always been halal but they somehow forgot to label all the food correctly, as halal food is often labeled for the peace of mind of the Muslim diners.
Chu remarked the food was still the same since Day 1, but the reporters sharing fake news realized they have been caught a couple of times already, hence they are grudgingly saying positive words about the SEA Games. And mostly, they just preempting the public.
Chu ended the post by joking she wants to give the reporters peddling fake news with gold medal for being ‘atribida’ or their meddlesome behavior?
Chu called them ‘feeling hero.’

Sabi ng mga nega na nag fefeeling positive ngayon, the reason the food is better at the SEA Games is because pinuna nila. They’ve been congratulating themselves like the obnoxious people that they are. Pa hero ganon.
Well, if that makes them feel better about lying about the kikiam that was actually a chicken sausage whose original poster already apologized, and that volunteer whose been called a liar by dozens of other volunteers—e di give na natin sa kanila.
Pero to everyone else who is rational, if you stalked the FB pages of the chefs involved (like I did), and if you actually had the initiative to call the hotels yourself, you’d know the food preparation has been set months ago. It’s so easy to doublecheck. Lol. The food has always been halal—the fault was not that it wasn’t halal but that they didn’t make sure to label all the food correctly, as halal food is often labeled for the assurance of the diners.
Hindi gumanda ang pagkain—naisipan nyo lang madami na kayong fake news na nabubuko. At mostly, pinangunahan niyo lang kasi.
So since F na F kayo, gusto nyo ng gold medal for being atribida?
Feeling hero amp.
