Senator Manny Pacquiao has repeatedly said he is fighting to bring pride and honor for the country. And his latest boxing match against Errol Spence is no exception because every time he climbs the ring, it gives him joy knowing that Filipinos unite to watch his fight.
On that note, US-based Bicolano accountant/auditor and blogger took to Facebook to rebuff Pacquiao’s long-time belief he is fighting for the country.
Jamora said that every time Pacquiao climbs the ring, it is a personal fight. Not the Philippines’ fight. Why? Jamora reasoned that every time Manny wins, he keeps the money. The Philippines is not keeping his prize money. In addition, when Pacquiao emerges victorious, the Philippines is simply riding on the crest of his triumph, it just so happen he is a Filipino, that’s why Filipinos are also happy. Understood? Jamora asked. He quickly withdrew his question after remembered Pacquiao’s earlier statement that he has no brain.
“Manny! Gets mo? Ay! Wala ka pala utak. Sabi.mo.”
On a serious note, Jamora warned Pacquiao that all those who tried to humiliate the President ended up miserable. He coaxed Pacquiao to ask Rabiya.
“Alam mo ba?!
Based on the tone of the comments of netizens in reaction to Pacquiao’s claim he is fighting for pride and honor of country, netizens have Jamora’s back.
