This is the caption of the Luminous regarding the quote card it posted on their page bannering the resbak (retaliation) of Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte to Yorme Isko asking its readers if they smell of toasted/b*rning something?
I assume you’ve read Yorme Isko Moreno’s statement criticizing Mayors who take out of town trips to meet whoever politician or party, right? Well and good if you already did!
Moving forward, In a text message to the Philippine Daily Inquirer, Mayor Sara Duterte was quoted by Inquirer saying: “Alam naman ng lahat, di ako tulad ni ibang mayor, nagdadrama ng sipa at sigaw sa vaccination center para masabi na nagtrabaho sila. Uma-acting para sa camera.” [English translation for FB and Google purposes: Everybody knows, I am unlike other mayor, make a scene by kicking or shouting in vaccination center, just to make it appear they are working. Acting in front of the camera.]
The Luminous quote card has been a huge hit among its FB followers, generating 19,804 reactions, 1,700+ comments and 801 shares in just 9 hours and counting.
Netizens have a field day commenting on the Luminous thread to express their sentiment on Mayor Sara Duterte’s resbak at Yorme Isko.
“Sunog na sunog ang mahilig mag tawag ng camera. Tama ang ating butihing Presidente ng Pilipinas,” a netizen agreed with the Luminous observation that Sara’s resbak just smells a b*rned Yorme.
“Bulls eye Mayor isko,” commented another.
“Epal nga kasi lahat ng kilos naka video naka live pra sbhin ng tao napakagaling nyang mayor, pasikat ba” said a netizen who was apparently happy that Inday Sara put Isko in his proper place.
