Netizen on ‘feeling pabida’ celeb: “Intention is not a defense here. Sue that epal!”

Netizen Tio Moreno takes a swipe at some celebrity whom he described “feeling pabida” or show off but when her stunt went south, she wants the government now to shoulder the cost of swab testing and do damage repair? And to the consternation of Moreno, she still managed to shout, #OustDuterte? Incompetent government?

“Yong feeling na pabida ka pero noong pumalpak ang pagka epal mo, gusto mo e shoulder ng gobyerno ang testing at e handle ang damage na ginawa mo? Tapos sabay sigaw #OustDuterte?? Incompetent ang gobyerno??”

Moreno reminded the public that its true everyone has rights but it does not mean everyone is right. In addition, he also added that the public has no obligation to feed the people. If they want to help, they can give it to the government because that’s their job.

“Remember that just because everyone has rights, doesn’t mean everyone is right. It is not your obligation to feed the people. If your intention is pure in helping out the poor, then give it to the government and let them distribute it because that’s one of their functions or at least coordinate well with them.”

Moreno continued preaching to the “feeling pabida” celebrity about the limits of one’s rights her legion of supporters used to justify her community pantry drive.

“Exercising your rights is not a ticket for you to be an asshole. You cannot just exercise your rights and violate laws at the same time. Laws that you’re obliged to abide by because you’re a citizen of this country.”

Moreno ended the FB post by telling IATF to sue the epal.

“Intention is not a defense here. Sue that epal! She has no right to disobey IATF rules on mass gathering.”

Thoughts?
