In view of Typhoon Nina’s damage and the inconvenience it has caused many holiday passengers, the DSWD in coordination with DSWD CALABARZON and the AFP will conduct a feeding activity for around 1,500 stranded passengers in the port of Batangas. We will employ the AFP’s mobile kitchen to cook hot meals for the stranded passengers. The mobile kitchen comes with a kitchen crew to be assisted by DSWD SWADTs. DSWD will provide rice and canned goods to be cooked. This will be deployed tonight.
