The Facebook page “Tudla Productions” one of the many FB pages who shared the video of the US embassy incident accuses the police of the violent dispersal though the militants were already wrapping up the program and leave.

The video quickly spread online as shocked netizens sympathize with the plight of the militants who were allegedly massing in front of the US embassy in support of PRRD’s anti-America stance.
The video showing the rampaging police mobile has generated more than half a million views, less than 24 hours it was published on Facebook.
After the video went viral, netizens took to the social media to condemn the police brutality against the peaceful militants.
President Duterte issued a statement while in China, promising to personally look into the incident and go the bottom of the incident.
Meanwhile, Col. Pedrozo, MPD Deputy Director for Operations maintained that the police acted only on self-preservation when militants started attacking the police mobile.
Walang intensyon managasa ang driver. Natakot siya sa dami ng raliyista kaya iniwas lang niya [ang] sasakyan. Gusto lang niya tanggalin ang mobile dahil bukod sa na-vandalize, ay sinisira na nila.
