Manny Pacquiao was quoted recently, lamenting that in our political system, people looked at the physical rather than the interior or the person’s greatness of heart or whatever.
Maybe before I was naïve but not anymore. I keep learning everyday in my life, studying. Presently, I am taking up Masters in Public Administration and later, in Economics. So, studying is continuous, Pacquiao bragged.
On that note, Oman-based and Davaoena lady doctor named Rolaiza Mimi Singayao posted an open letter addressed to Manny Pacquiao to tell her fellow Mindanaoan the brutal truth that his masters degree won’t make him President.
“PARA SA ‘YO, MANNY!”
The lady doctor advised Pacquiao not to trust and get impressed with Koko Pimentel too much.
“Huwag bilib at nagpapaniwala kay Koko Pimentel. Nag top 1 nga sa Bar exams., lousy naman ang performance as lawmaker, numero unong quarantine violator pa.”
Singayao urged Pacquiao to ask Koko regarding his tangible accomplishments for CDO. She also wondered what Pacquiao has done for Saranggani as a lawmaker aside from handing out cash gifts?
“Ask Koko, ano-anong tangible accomplishments nya as a senator at para sa CDO? Ikaw, Manny, ano-anong nagawa mo as a lawmaker at para sa Saranggani pwera ang cash gifts bigay-bigay?”
Singayao has nothing but admiration for Pacquiao though as a boxer and that she said is his tangible accomplishments but not enough for him to become president. Worse, Pacquiao chose the wrong style in attacking President Duterte. Trying hard.
“Mahusay kang boxer. Yon ang tangible mong accomplishment na hindi sapat para maging pangulo ka. Mali ka sa istayl mong upak kay Digong. Mali. Trying hard ka masyado. Hindi kaya ng kamao mo ang isang matatag na pader na essentially ay da great palamurang father of the Philippine nation.”
“Manny, dapat natututo ka sa mastery ni Digong as a public servant,” Singayao remarked.
Singayao threw a shade at Pacquiao in light of his pronouncement he will launch a war against corruption if he becomes President when he was silent on the right of way corruption scandal in Gen San.
“Sa dami ng dumaong na droga sa coastal areas ng Saranggani, hindi mo nakitang priority ang War against Drugs? Tahimik ka rin sa korapsyon ng right of way sa Gen. San.”
Singayao ended the open letter by leaving a frank assessment of Pacquiao’s chances of becoming President by virtue of how many masteral studies.
“Hindi mo ikaka-presidente ang mga masterals mo, Manny. Tu-o na lang.”
