If she had her way, Manila Bulletin writer Krizette Laureta Chu aka KLC would like PRRD to run as senator rather than retire from politics or run as Go’s VP.
Chu said cited personal and political reasons.
Personal because she can’t imagine not seeing PRRD for the rest of his life. Plus, he is still brilliant and you don’t just retire people who still have it in them.
Politics-wise, a Senator Rodrigo Duterte is a welcome news because the admin lacks the numbers in the senate. Talks like defunding the NTF-ELCAC will not prosper because he can unify the senate.
Chu added that a Senator Rodrigo Duterte is much better compared to Leni’s senatorial lineup.
What PRRD decides today, Chu hopes PRRD decides to run for a senate seat.
Chu said that Duterte can sleep if he is tired like Drilon. Or skips senate duties once in a while like Pacquiao.

Personally I would like to see PRRD as Senator if only because I can’t imagine not seeing him for the rest of his life. Plus he is still so brilliant—you don’t retire people who still have it in them.
As Senator he can help deliver much needed votes and even unify the Senate. For example, kung Senator si PRRD, wala yang mga NTF ELCAC abolish fund na yan sa Senate.
We actually need more people kasi in the Senate.
Ang daming Senators ni ina mo Leni—including the likes of Binay, Risa, Leila. Tapos si Tulfo pa, na hindi mo alam ano ang totoong politics.
So we really need more allies there.
Whatever he decides today, I hope he decides… maging Senator.
Pwede naman matulog sa Senate kung pagod na sya, like Drilon. Or mag absent lagi, like Pacquiao.
As we have seen who we have in the Houses are as important as our President.
