Finally, the DDS supporters can now heave a sigh of relief after the boat captain Junel Insigne and his crew have changed their stories about what really happened on the midnight of June 9, 2019 in the Recto Bank aka Reed Bank.
Now that the Recto Bank maritime accident is now behind us, PGH Doc Francisco Pascual Tranquilino made a controversial proposition on Facebook that should alarm the opposition politicians aspiring for the highest position of the land in 2022 that Robredo, Hontiveros, Poe and Lacson can now forget their dream of becoming the next President of the country.
Tranquilino explained the above-mentioned political personalities are ignorant when it comes to international diplomacy as shown in the statements they issued at the height of the Recto Bank incident issue, hence they have lost the right to become the next President of the country in the future.
For example, Tranquilino took a swipe at Lacson with a witty reply to the senator’s statement that PRRD left us heartbroken and read:
“We may actually be better off heartbroken (as Lacson puts it) than suffer tremendous casualties in a useless & recklessly-initiated war. “

You don’t declare war or send combat ships against another nation, big or small, unless you have all the right information about an issue and all the correct reasons to do so. A wrong and miscalculated move may end in grave consequences for the entire nation.
You don’t demand (as the Fake VP demands) that foreign nationals face trial in our country without being in possession of all the evidence of wrongdoing.
And yes, it is a “small maritime” incident, which may even be accidental, compared to what could happen if we opted for more aggressive and confrontational actions.
President Duterte’s action (or inaction as claimed by his critics in the opposition) is not a show of weakness nor disregard for the welfare of the 22 fishermen but actually a measured concern for the welfare of the greater good.
And we may actually be better off heartbroken (as Lacson puts it) than suffer tremendous casualties in a useless & recklessly-initiated war.
THE PRESIDENT’S ACTION WAS ACTUALLY WISE AND SENSIBLE, IT IS NOT FECKLESS AND SPINELESS (as Hontiveros foolishly claims). IT IS NOT RECKLESS, RATHER IT IS THE MOST RESPONSIBLE COURSE OF ACTION BY A RESPONSIBLE LEADER OF A NATION.
