Pinay DH’s emotional appeal to Kuwaiti authorities goes viral online: #STOP DEATH PENALTY FOR OFW WORKER

On Wednesday, Jakatia Pawa, a Pinay OFW, was executed by public hanging for the murder of the daughter of her Kuwaiti employer sometime in 2007.

The news sent shock waves across the social media particularly among the ranks of the overseas Filipino workers who sympathized with the sad plight of another OFW.

On Facebook, Redmae Quia opened her hearts out to the social media following the news of the hanging to death of a fellow OFW by appealing to the Kuwaiti authorities to stop killing the OFW’s.

She said OFW’s go to the Middle East to work and give their family a bright future, not to commit a crime.

Ms. Quia shared a couple of photos showing her in tears and a photo of an unnamed individual to give the public an idea of the fate that befell on Jakatia Pawa.

The social media expressed their sympathy to the family of the Jawatia Pawa by posting their words of encouragement and condolences in the comment section.

The social media showed different reactions in light of the execution of Jakatia Pawa.
